Earth Has a "Second Moon" That Is Not a True Satellite
Asteroid 3753 Cruithne is a quasi-satellite of Earth, following a complex horseshoe-shaped orbit around the Sun that makes it appear to orbit Earth. It completes one revolution around the Sun in almost exactly the same time as our planet.
